Cashew market update

As Diwali started in India and most of the purchase of retailers there finished, Indian kernel prices are lowering a little bit while Vietnamese kernel prices remain steady.

W320 is traded at 3.70-3.90/lb from India and is traded at 3.60-3.80/lb from Vietnam.

Demand side:

Cashew kernels demand from EU and USA customers is quite low past week.

But local market is still high due to lack of kernels and Chinese buyers continuing to buy high prices.

USA: Low purchasing

EU: Low purchasing

China: Very active

Supply side:

Exporters have slown down their offers to EU & US customer they are very cautious as they are having issues getting kernels in the local market.
